Description
The Herero 4×4 reinforced ring and pinion are recommended both for extreme use of the vehicle and for restoring the original Land Rover axle ratios in the case of using bigger wheels. Built of very high resistance steel, they allow a 13.85% reduction in ratio, leading to 4.11 gear ratio (37 crown teeth 9 pinion teeth). They are run in with an abrasive paste at 3000 rpm to guarantee maximum running silence.
