The project involves the use of 4 shock absorbers called HR20r. They are of the monotube family preloaded with nitrogen and oil reinforced and completely regenerable. The connections are of the eye-pin and pin-pin type to make them replaceable to the originals without any modification. Built with alloy steel body, galvanized and powder coated (scud method) with a diameter of 50mm and a 16mm chromed stem with anti-scratch treatment and protected by a rubber bellows.

Description

The +6 lift kit that was not there

The tw6 is the Herero 4×4 lift kit capable of guaranteeing superior performance without major vehicle distortions. Thanks to the application of first level components and of course to the use of our famous kit of progressive multiple coil springs at the rear with two overlapping coil springs, we are able to guarantee exceptional stability and roadholding qualities as well as unusual off-road performances for lift kits of equal height.

The project involves the use of 4 shock absorbers called HR20. They are of the monotube family preloaded with nitrogen and oil, reinforced and completely regenerable. Equipped with specific calibration, the shock absorber is particularly cared for in sliding and strengthened in the sealing stops. In order to offer excellent performance even at very high operating temperatures, the HR20 uses “High-performance” synthetic oils and is preloaded with nitrogen. The two elements are kept separate by a semi-floating separator in a single chamber to keep the operating temperature within the design limits even during a heavy vehicle engagement.

A shock absorber of this level is perfectly combined with the elastic elements, made up of four rear coil springs with a coil spring and a differentiated pitch in order to guarantee a progressive response in each use.
The rear suspension allows an excursion of 330mm per wheel, setting new records for the +6 category.
On the front, the suspension guarantees a travel of the axle of 250mm per wheel, the performances described above are obtained by making the most of the original connections of the vehicle shock absorbers.
The two connecting plates between the rear coil springs and the two plates to connect the coil springs to the rear axle are also supplied, both are designed to house the third coil spring useful to further strengthen the coil spring assembly.

The introduction of the third internal coil spring further improves the road qualities of the vehicle and allows, in addition to a greater transportable load, a better management of the vehicle while facing ramps or very accentuated sideways, in this case the vehicle rises rearwards by another 2 cm becoming in all respects the optimal up-grade for the very demanding customer.
